I’m just saying that Alabama has a pull on him that no other place does. It would probably tear him up trying to make that decision. Sark figured it out and got himself in order and is a very good coach. He has the the utmost respect and appreciation for the shot the Saban and Bama gave him. That just can’t be glossed over because without that shot then Sark isn’t where he is at today.

I think you'd more likely have more luck finding the next Sark or Kirby on Saban's staff when he decides to leave. Maybe he would find or is now actively looking for a young up and coming coach he can mold for the job...

I don’t think there is a person on staff right now that is ready for that big of a jump. There has been talk at times that Saban might retire and become AD. After he won one or two Nattys a few years ago that was talked about. No matter if Saban ever makes that move or not I have to imagine he will be asked to recommend his successor and I guarantee you the name he gives will be Sark. Saban has a lot of respect for him because he fought to turn his life around. Saban thinks he is a great coach. If Sark keeps on winning he may very well get that call one day.
