It matters when viewing a coaches career.

It can make a career look better, and it can also be stacked on top of a list of grievances, making a career look extremely sour.

I personally liked when we stuffed Wisconsin when everyone told us we wouldn't be able to stop their RB. We stonewalled him and that was a source of pride. Coaches need to keep trying to win. Gus provided pride for other teams.

Considering that our players that are going to the draft said they were all playing because they wanted to send the fanbase out on a win, I’d say that hell yes it matters.
