I get that, but part of a brand is building it, and the bigger the brand the more you are marketable to advertisers and companies. Unfortunately that is what one must enter to generate opportunity.

It's just not as simple as you and I would look at it. Especially with NIL in play. My nephew uses his social media to push the products and services he is contracted with.

And if your nephew received a message on social media accusing him of promoting products/services that are attracting interdimensional aliens who are causing bone cancer in children, how would your nephew respond?

Go on attack against this very, very “serious” accusation?

Or ignore it and stay “on brand”?
