100% that wouldve been the case. There is precedent with Tommy Lewis of Bama coming off the bench and tackling Dicky Moegle of Rice in the Cotton Bowl.

By the way, I am both amazed and slightly embarrassed that I did not have to look up the teams involved, or the player names or the bowl game to recall that play. And a thanks to the Scholastic Book Club fulfilling my order in the 4th grade. Not so much of a thanks to my brains capacity to remember that shite and but no more than 60% of a lost 8 item grocery list.
