Conference strength means nothing in a bowl game. Otherwise the Big 10 wouldn't have beaten an SEC team in a bowl every year since....(Michigan vs Florida or PSU vs Tennessee anyone?)
Keep in mind both of those bowls above were played in an SEC hotbed!

you forgot Ohio State's record is 0-8 vs the SEC in bowl games...face it, the big zero is exactly that....overhyped, overrated, & overly arrogant.
