I do agree overall. Maybe it wouldn't be a big deal if our special teams unit wasn't a complete dumpster fire this season.
But I just had to point that out since I was thinking what you were thinking and went down a rabbit hole and found out that quite a few coaches actually do it as well.
It's worth noting that Riley also got a lot of heat for USC's ST play this year, on top of the defensive woes, OL issues, and their suspect S&C.
Basically, they're having a lot of the same issues Napier is having here. That doesn't excuse Napier one bit, but it's funny to see it.

If the 2024 class falls apart, with LJ and X and Hayes flipping, I say fire Napier now and go out and hire Lane.

There are alot of issues to be fixed on this coaching staff
First we need a real S&C coordinator
We need 1 O-line Coach and a OC. Not 2 online coaches
definitely need a Special Teams coordinator
Billy needs to be the head coach and pay attention to all detail!!
