OU fans, I'm not sure I understand why you care? He's not openly rooting against you. Your school can stand on its own. Why do you care at all what happens in Austin?

Because we are getting the same treatment. He just never said it publically but it still exists. Both teams will have to overcome refs this year. Its garbage for any commish to do that while teams are still legally in that conf. It goes against all ethics of an office that high up. Not sure why its so difficult to understand.

To throw some facts in:

Last year out of 130 teams playing FBS vs FBS, OU’s opponents ranked 115th in the country for penalties called against them when playing OU at 4.9 per game. For comparison Tenn ranked #1 for oppoment penalties with a whopping 8.8 called per game. So OU opponents called for half as many per game on avg as Tenn. thats a lot more penalties which swing games. OU lost 4 games by 3 points, do the math. 6-7 can be 10-3 in a flash.

My point is the commish is wrong and unethical to announce this publically while in charge of the conf. But its hurting OU as much as Texsa. Refs cost us a conf title game berth 2 years ago vs OK state, this was the first season after announcing move.

Anyways, he should resign since he can’t be impartial.
