I suppose we'll see.

Last year just felt different for some reason. We got beat by Tennessee for the first time during Saban's tenure, and we lost to Brian Kelly in his first season - usually Saban beats first year coaches.

While both of those losses were uncharacteristic, they were both played in front of the 2 most hostile crowds in cfb history, and both crowds rushed the field after the game.
Both games were just incredibly unlucky. The Tennessee game set all kinds of records with the number of penalties called against us, and we had a ton of unlucky turnovers, and still barely got beat.
The LSU game I wouldn't call unlucky, but the team kinda slept through the game similar to the 4 OT Iron Bowl. And we came out and scored a TD in overtime, which would almost never = a loss, but crazy Brian Kelly rolled the dice and went for 2.

Basically we lost to LSU because we lost the OT coin toss.

So all things considered, while last season was uncharacteristically bad, the 2 losses were incredibly unlucky, and probably (hopefully) not a sign of things to come.
Alabama still has an absurd amount of talent, and we still have a great staff that is locked in. I guess we'll see what happens.
