We keep hearing that, but is that the truth? Or does the SEC look at the 9th game as leverage to change the contract? That's a big deal.
If ESPN isn't buying then simply start with an 8 game schedule and if down the line they want more, they can pay for it.

I really hope we stay at 8 for at least a few more years. Otherwise all 12 of our regular season games will be against P5 next year.
