The University of Georgia football team has declined an invitation to visit the White House in celebration of its 2023 national championship victory against TCU, according to a statement from the UGA Athletic Association.
“Unfortunately, the date suggested is not feasible given the student-athlete calendar and time of year,” the statement said. “However, we are appreciative of the invitation and look forward to other opportunities for Georgia teams moving forward.”
The school first received the invitation on May 3, according to the statement, and the visitation date was set for June 12. Georgia didn’t visit the White House after its 2022 national championship win over Alabama, either, marking two straight years that Georgia has won a national title without a White House appearance.

Didn't know he was a legitimate anti vaxxer (like anti measles). Also a radical environmentalist it seems. Though if he is for nuclear energy under the renewable umbrella I would be fine with that.

He wont win. Theyd never allow him to win. But its nice to finally have an adult in the room again. Last one like him was Ron Paul.

IDK I think it would be a fun experience regardless of leadership. Have a nice dinner, stroll the mall, hit up some museums, watch all the fringe groups protesting outside the white house. Gramps probably only makes a brief appearance anyway before his dementia kicks in and they have to shuffle him off to his nap.

Head to BLM plaza to get some selfies by the historic churches that were burned in the riots. Then maybe grab a snow cone and hope to witness some car jackings or a murder. As the sun sets, maybe have a light dinner picnic, maybe some cucumber sandwiches and Brie, in the shadow of the gulag full of grandmas doing hard time for rightfully protesting a rigged fraudulent election
