If he/she/it was a fine watch stander and didn't hit other boats, maybe OK. Better than what they have had for years
(not the fault of sailors, but leadership.)

At my new company last year, a guy above me explained how OERs had removed pictures to create greater inclusivity in promotion decisions (not sure why this is relevant in an IT company). I slid in that promotion scores were based on scores that had nothing to do with race to begin with, and they'd been that way my entire adult life, and he mumbled his way out of his glorious announcement of inclusivity.

This same dude posted, to a work group channel, about "May Day" on 1 May. There was a total lack of response, which I take to mean a bunch of people knew May Day was classist BS started by Lenin and used as an excuse for a parade in Red Square, and not much else in practice. I sooooo wanted to reply with a screenshot of a parade in Moscow, but... Paychecks and stuff.

Feel the inclusivity.
