Additionally, I don't think those NIL #'s are sustainable for the big programs. When folks start looking at RIO for an athlete at a school with a $20-$30K NIL package vs $75k-$100K is significant the tide will shift again.
For example; TA&M (boosters) spent approximately $1,000,000 more for a class that is essentially the same as South Carolina's.
TA&M Avg NIL $88k * 19 recruits = $1,672,000
SC Avg NIL $28K * 24 recruits = $672,000
Class breakdown
TA&M 1 5*, 11 4*, 7 3*
SC 1 5*, 11 4*, 12 3*
Thinking about this a little more, @ $296K, I guess Texas ran up the price/value for Texas recruits and forced A&M to "overpay".
