Ohio State was the conference winner. The rules were updated because they wouldn't make teams that ducked us take a forfeit, which is what should've happened.

No. You were not. The conference rules stated that the conference winner had to play a minimum number of conference games. Ohio State did not. So, the BIG 10 changed the rules so you could make the playoffs instead of Indiana.
Does Ohio State and their fans always want to make it up as you go? Rules are there for a reason. You can't just ignore them when they don't suit you...unless you are the darling of the Big 10.

They were updated after the season was played?

Crap dude. I guess if you can't win by the current rules you can just change them after the fact. Maybe your coach should try that? Maybe he could just get the targeting rule changed and rewrite history?
