You're going around the truth by repeating the same nonsense that you are beginning to believe it. He kicked a 49 yd FG, so 1 more yard isn't a big deal to someone with a leg strong as his.
It is a big deal for a couple of reasons.

1. It wasn't just 1 more yard. It needed to go higher in order to prevent the UGA ST unit from blocking it, which they've done in key moments in big games over the past few years. He needed extra leg behind it to get it up safely.

2. It's not just how much leg you can get behind it, but how much you can accurately get behind it. As in a lot of things in sports, you can get a bit more power at the expense of form and technique. However, if you slouch in technique, you can get ugly looking results, like that flying saucer that went about mile wide of the uprights.

As for the defense, I never said Georgia was no good.

I was one of the first to call for the repeat on here after destroying Oregon. Most on here downplayed it but not me. Ohio State could not keep Georgia from scoring all game and without our injured offensive players it became a struggle on offense to move the ball, score or eat time.
Yes, UGA is good. So is OSU. The issue is that you keep harping on the offense (that was up by 2 scores late in the game) as the reason you lost rather than not getting stops on defense when you needed to. You had more than enough points to win that game, but you needed the defense to step up, and they didn't. Because of that, you needed your special teams to step up, and they didn't. Your offense--even without MHJ--still did enough to get the win. Stroud, specifically, manned up and carried the team on that last drive, doing enough to give you a chance to win it, but it didn't happen.

Like I said, there are three phases to the game. OSU failed in two of them and are blaming the loss on the third (because of injuries). You've got it backwards.
