I'm not criticizing Kirby at all. He's done great things and there are probably 20+ schools that wish the coaches they hired from Saban could have done the same thing.

I ain't even mad. I like what I see.
You have a strange way of showing it. You are downplaying what he’s done at his time at Georgia due to an insecurity about a comparison to Saban. No one is saying that Smart has surpassed Saban as the GOAT, but any comparisons that favor Smart are being shot down with a vengeance.

But it's not my fault Georgia fans can't deal with the reality and want to pretend he's accomplished more than he really has.

"Because you can see it in the future for sure".

Actually accomplish things, then talk.
The point of the OP was to show Smart’s accomplishments in his first seven years. He is possibly three days away from 2 national championships in 2 years after UGA hadn’t won one in 41 years, and his recruiting isn’t slowing down.

He has objectively accomplished a lot, especially for a first time head coach. There’s no need to downplay his accomplishments. It’s not a lie to say he’s done it at UGA (compared to SMU).

Not to mention, he would have also been insanely close to a third natty had he won that OT natty in 2017

That and this is his 3rd appearance in the title game in 6 years.
