I don’t think Jimbo (or Bobby’s) schemes are a problem if you have the personnel to run them (A&M does).

The problem for Jimbo Fisher and A&M on Saturdays was him having to call a offensive game while worrying about special teams, clock management, and flip through his 3 ring binder and spiral notebook from the sidelines. Then the rest of the week he has to recruit HS players, keep guys out of portal, recruit guys from portal, come up with an offensive game plan, etc. It’s all just too much.

I think Bobby’s offense will absolutely work if he and Jimbo can get along and mesh. His success will 100% hinge on relationships with the staff and players and not scheme.
