I like the idea of players finishing with their team. But, a lot has changed in 2 years with NIL, transfer portal, Covid opt outs and game/bowl cancelations, etc. The stigma has worn off of the opt outs for bowl games for top players.

I don't like it. NY6 Bowls are big games and should mean something to the players.

It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.
