Good question. Looks to be something that's sorta unprovable but I would guess most coaches like it.

It reminds me of the old "two-a-day" practices in fall camp. People did research on it and found that it doesn't help players learn or get better, so it was pointless and ultimately risked injury. A lot of coaches agreed that it was antiquated and needed to go, so the NCAA banned it.

Which reminds me of Coach Dye’s first Fall camp which were “three-a-day”.

Coach separated the wheat from the chaff and quickly changed the direction in which the program was heading in that camp.
