That appears to be the case for many. I lost my dad in July. It’s drastically changed my passion for the game. Our family has been intimately connected to Alabama football for more than 70 years. We’ve had the outrageous fortune of being coached by the two greatest to ever walk the sidelines. I have nothing to complain about. Alabama football will continue.

I’m sorry to hear about your father.

My family gives a good chunk to Bama every year. I just don’t think I’ll be as invested anymore. It starts to consume everything. I think I’m going to take a step back and enjoy from a further distance. I love the school and team but this following level of what we expect for the program makes me miserable.
