It was very hard to guage our defense against ball state.
They looked a bit underwhelming at times but we always played a very vanilla zone coverage defense most of the game. I expect a lot more man coverage and designed blitzes this weekend.

Agreed. They return their entire O-line and 2 running backs. They also have a D-line that can get penetration and disrupt rhythm.
I think we should win but will need the defense and O-line to play well.
It's not going to be the slam dunk a lot of Vols think.

1st string defense still hasn’t been scored on. It was 45-0 when the Vols took all starters with 12 minutes in the 3rd quarter.
