The state of Alabama has more 5*s than Texas this year.
Alabama >> Texas (except head to head in which case Texas >>>>>>> Alabama)

Alabama has better programs, but I was just talking about $$$. Texas has the highest GDP of any state in the conference by a good amount, and they also love their football
