I have no issue with someone like this person making whatever decisions they want that don't affect others. If he decides he is really a girl and wants to get his dick cut off, that's his right.

I do have an issue when someone demands that others not only tolerate their decisions, but accept them. I can tolerate a lot of things that I will not necessarily accept. The two aren't the same. Just like it is this guy's right to decide they are a girl, it's my, and everyone else's, right to say, "No, dude, you're not. You're just playing a very elaborate game of pretend." I don't get to make decisions for him about what gender he wants to be, but he doesn't get to make decisions for me about what gender I think he is. Trying to force himself to be accepted into a sorority is doing exactly that - "I have decided I'm really a girl and I am going to force you to act like I'm a girl, too, even if you don't think I am one." Freedom means making your own choices; it most assuredly does not mean making others abide by the choices you make.

Exactly, as some like to say follow the science. There are only two sexes/genders in biology period except for some simple lifeforms that can reproduce by themselves, everything else is as you said a very elaborate game of pretend and no one else has to play your game. If you want to cut off your arms, fingers hand or other self mutilation or have multiple personalities that is mental illness and these folks should be helped and treated. But with one sex thinking or pretending to be the other society has become too cowardly to stand up and say "No, this isn't right and you need help" Is it possible that someone is the other sex trapped in the wrong body? I'm sure it is, especially when they were born with Ambiguous genitalia and the doctor or parents choose one or the other for them to surgically be but most of this and the made up pronouns like Ezra Miller are mental illness that needs to be treated and the individual helped to either see that they are in error or reaffirm what they believe. Regardless, others don't have to play their game or accept their view.

You accept this, but then say people need therapy because it's wrong?

Again, my issue with the left is that they only want to "follow the science" in areas like COVID and climate, but in the most basic areas like what makes a man a man, a woman a woman, and a person a person, they completely abandon science. In Los Angeles, with the recent tragedy where the woman driver killed six people, only 5 victims were born human beings. The sixth victim was the unborn fetus of one of the other victims. Yet ultra liberal DA George Gascon charged the woman with 6 counts of murder and talked about "the process of holding accountable the person responsible for the deaths of six people". Six people...not 5 people and a fetus. So the fetus is only a person to the left when it suits their political interests. The mother could have literally been on her way to get an abortion, which Gascon and Gavin Newsom would have defended, and that would have been OK. So literally the only determining factor in whether or not a living being is a person with rights to be protected by the state is whether or not the woman wants it.

There is absolutely zero science in that.
