It will not cost them a draft pick next year – they can technically still spend another $245,459.00 above the $150,000 allowable to any of their remaining five draft picks. Looks like Hachman will be a go as well. He should be ready to start throwing in September. I wouldn’t expect him to throw a ton of innings, but he could be a valuable piece out of the pen by the time conference play ramps up.
