In fairness, I should have noted that Alabama (Our Blueblood) has carried the heavy load with easily the most titles, but it is also fair to note that a large number of other teams have won titles, too. And, as you noted, when you include the entire south east it really gets ugly. The southeastern US easily has the best college football in the entire country. There is no arguing that point. That would hold true if you even if we took Alabama out of the equation, so that just shows how strong this area of the country has been.
