Caleb Love was a 30% 3 point shooter, and 38% FG shooter overall on a below average UNC team that didn't make the NCAA Tournament last season. He is the Pac 12 POY for Arizona this season.
I'm NOT saying Carter would have a similar season at LSU...or anywhere else. But to write someone off as a contributor based upon ONE stat is silly. LSU wasn't a bad three point shooting team. It's one of the few things on offense they actually did relatively well. They were terrible defensively and could use help there. Carter has proven he can provide that.

His shooting numbers aren’t far off from Wright. If this guy is going to be a focal point, we are screwed. If he’s just another piece, he will be just fine.
