Only took about 5hrs IIRC w/ coach O. A record which should stand for many years.

Fans ignored his antics and even championed his behavior. Media loved him because he was a wealth of soundbites. 'Roll Tide what..'.

Most were pumped by 'sissy blue' until UCLA took Ed to the woodshed.

Within a few days, it became a 'firing offense'... LOL.
