Objectively false. Top 5 recruting class after going 5-7 and we hired Gary Patterson.

It's more embarrassing to lose to A&M than OU. Imagine the embarrassment teams felt losing to Alabama in the early 2000s then multiply that by ten.

Oh I also forgot to say that OU choking year after year soothed the pain of us losing to them. If Saban were winning natty after natty at OU, that'd also be embarassing. It's like how the rest of the SEC raised the competition level to compete with Saban.
