The day after my sister got married Iraq invaded Kuwait. Her husband had already joined the army and was to soon start basic after the ceremony. He was in the first wave on a tank.
My buddy got called up in the guard in Lake Charles. They were sent to Fort Hood after the first bunch of soldiers was sent to Kuwait. He said they were partying and fricking the wives of the dudes deployed and their commander found out about it. He sent their asses out in the field for a few weeks to teach them a lesson....
