White is very multiple which you have to be in todays college football. The days of lining up in 1 or 2 front is over. The great DCs have the ability to get into almost any front using personel groupings. Even, odd, over, under, tite, eagle, bear, you have to be able to do it all.

You sure it’s not a 3-4 under? That outside end in the stand up position is considered a Leo or some other terminology.

Those 4 Techs typically slant strong or weak to play single gap defense. You don’t need giant defensive ends to play this type of 3-4. Also with them in 4 techs, it discourages the offense line from double teaming.
