Are you kidding? Mizzou has a rich history...no way...you're in the best college conference in the weaker divison Mizzou is a very good job...Pinkel proved it or he would of gone to Washington

Again, Gary Pinkel is part of the old guard. Those coaches that are both elite and loyal, are a thing of the past for mid-tier schools like Mizzou, and even some blue blood schools as we have seen with the recent coaching vacancies.

Drink knows Mizzou took a chance on him too. Not saying coaches are loyal, but if you add that to him needing to build a perennial 9-11 win program at Mizzou- he is here for probably 4-5 years at least.

That's a great point, both needed each other at the time, but we are talking projections, money, facilities, NIL, recruiting, schedule, etc.. Drinkwitz has been here two years, he kind of reminds me of a Lane Kiffin lite, young - slightly arrogant, decent social media skills, and like Lane - very likely to move to the next best offer if he meets his goal here of say, 10 wins. He's definitely cut from the cloth of the new guard coaches where loyalty is only as good as what offers he's getting.
