Looking to find a good book that covers the revolutionary war, founding fathers, beginning of the country, etc. Any good recommendations?

Rick Atkinson just released his first book in a trilogy about the Revolutionary War. The first book is call "The British are Coming"
His WWII Trilogy is some of the best I have ever read.

It’s more a complete history of the us from early European exploring to the start of the actual government. But the part about the revolutionary war is superb.
And it’s absolutely gigantic.
Conceived In Liberty by Murray Rothbard

Nearly done with Benjamin Franklin: An American Life by Walter Isaacson. It falls a bit short of greatness but is still a good read. Franklin was a pretty incredible guy. To develop his theories on electricity with no real scientific training is very impressive. Franklin was bad at math too, but very good at business and also waves and furnaces and in a variety of scientific areas. Science became his hobby after he made his money in printing (after leaving home as a runaway).
The book also gets into his dealings with the early colonies and the revolution.

Also check out Jeff Shaara's Rise to Rebellion (covers from the Boston Massacre to the signing of the Declaration) and The Glorious Cause (remainder of the war).
I will admit I am a huge fan of Shaara's books so I may be a little biased, but I thought both books were really well done. If you have read any of his other books, these two follow the same format.

Founding Brothers by Joseph J. Ellis. Each chapter covers connections between founders and important events in the first decade after the 1787 Constitutional Convention. For example, Jefferson & Adams' relationship, Hamilton & Burr's duel, the selection of DC as the capital. Good book and not very long.
And yep, as someone else mentioned, Rick Atkinson's book should be good. I have it but haven't read it yet. His WWII books are top-notch.

McCullough's biography of John Adams is also very good. His biographies are pretty detailed on the history of the era they cover, so there's plenty of Revolutionary War and early American history in this one also.

1776 by David McCollough.
Three books which should be read in order by Nathaniel Philbrick: Bunker Hill, Valiant Ambition, and In the Hurricane’s Eye. (They’re about the first big battle around Boston, Benedict Arnold and the Hudson River fighting, and the French naval victory in the Chesapeake Bay and Washington’s siege of Yorktown. (George Washington features prominently in all and involve some of the best historical accounts I’ve read.)
Also, Revolution on the Hudson by George Daughan.
