Maybe Chiz and Jacobs are both gone. 
Nothing like blowing up the athletic dept and starting over. If they don't have faith in either Chiz or Jacobs, then no reason to keep them around. It makes the coaching search a little more difficult, but it kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
