A little "Petrino cheated on his wife" is well worth what he brings.
If people are worried about the image it brings then so be it. Auburn has been drug through the mud so much the past two years. A little infidelity is not going to be a big deal.

Agree Diddy.
The haters will always find something and I'll be glad when the NCAA isn't one of them. Petrino runs a very clean program.

If he hadn't hired his girlfriend to a state job at the UofA, he'd still be at Arkansas. I'm still pissed at him for that.
He'd be a good hire for Auburn.

You don't raise 1 billion$ without a number of million dollar range contributions and let's be real, a number of those people who could be targets for that will disapprove of Petrino.
I still support Petrino for Head Coach in Charge (of nailing sorority girls)
Most people are watching this process to see how it is being handled. If AU does not hire the best person available than there are some million dollar contributor who will be pissed, along with the average contributor. People are feed up with the arrogance of some of the PTB and believe they are holding AU back.

I hope that you are not setting yourself up for a big letdown. We will see. I still say when the dust settles there is a good chance that Malzahn is it. I hope that I am wrong. I have also heard that 2-3 of the top choices showed no interest when contacted. That narrows the pool, I think that it comes down to Malzahn or Petrino. That is just my opinion. Two weeks ago, I would have said Petrino had <5% chance. I also thought that there was no way that JJ could keep his job but a big wheel former trustee that donates a couple of million/year saved his arse. I guess anything can happen. Auburn's good old boy network is rotten to the core.

Finebaum said last week that there was a third coach that was "big time" who had interest. The problem was that he wanted "Saban Type Control" and the administration would be reluctant to give it.

Our administration can shove it if it's as big of a coach as you are letting on.

"If you want Petrino because you just want to win, you do not understand Auburn, at all."
