Morgan County (Ga.) standout Quin Williams is ranked the No. 5 outside linebacker in 2018.

Defensive tackle signee Tyrone Truesdell was a late addition to Auburn's 2017 class.

Auburn signees (from left): Traivon Leonard, Noah Igbinoghene, Jordyn Peters and Calvin Ashley.
One of these dudes stands out a bit

OT signee Austin Troxell and his girlfriend, Sydney Chandler, both attending Auburn in the fall.
Troxell just doesn't look like a 4* OT in street clothes

Predicting the recruiting class: April edition (247)
quote:
After a big recruiting weekend, Auburn now has six commitments and the No. 12 class ranking.
With 10 months until National Signing Day, there still is lots of work ahead.
In March, AuburnUndercover.com made its initial class projections, which you can look at HERE.
Now, we're back for round 2 and there are plenty of changes.
With 10 months out, there's just no way to know how a final class will look.
This is for fun, more than anything else.
Our best guess is Auburn will sign between 21-23 players. That final number won't be known until the very end of the cycle, though. That's because players on the team leave early for the NFL, get hurt or transfer (see quarterback Tyler Queen).
Not only is it extremely early in the cycle, but there are other variables in play.
For example, if Auburn lands Texas Tech defensive tackle transfer Breiden Fehoko, who will announce his decision April 17, the Tigers probably would sign one less lineman. And, because Fehoko won't count in the rankings that would mean fewer points for Auburn and a potentially lower overall ranking -- even though Fehoko is a former Under Armour All-American and likely would contribute in Year 1.
Anyway, based on our current intel these are the players we think Auburn might have the best shot of landing -- as of today.

quote:
QB -- Joey Gatewood, Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail
Gatewood, a 4-star recruit, committed to Auburn in December of 2015 and at this time we project him to stick with the Tigers. He attended the A-Day game and will return for Big Cat Weekend on June 3. Gatewood is actively recruiting for the Tigers.

ATH -- Gerry Bohanon, Earle (Ark.)
Bohanon recently visited and is extremely high on Auburn, which would give him a shot at quaterback. He's an exceptional athlete. He hopes to get back to Auburn in the near future.

quote:
APB -- Shaun Shivers, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep
Shivers, a current Tigers commit, is small (5-feet-6) but one of the fastest players in the country. He'll be used in a variety of spots and probably in the return game.

quote:
RB -- Asa Martin, Decatur (Ala.) Austin
Auburn offered the versatile 4-star back in February and he is someone they like an awful lot. It's a Florida-Auburn battle with Martin saying the Gators lead. Intel suggests, though, it could go either way and Auburn is starting to feel better about its chances.

quote:
WR -- Justyn Ross, Phenix City (Ala.) Central
The 6-feet-4 receiver is a 5-star recruit and it likely will come down to Auburn and Alabama for his signature. The Tigers are hopeful an improved passing game and longstanding relationships will be the difference. Ross goes back and forth on when he might want to pick a college.

quote:
WR -- Matthew Hill, Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood
The 4-star receiver grew up an Auburn fan, is closest with the Tigers staff and probably has visited the school more than any other. Add it up and things look promising. He potentially could end up on the commit list in the near future.

quote:
S/ATH -- Kolbi Fuqua, Cordova (Ala.)
A 3-star recruit, Fuqua might be the most underrated player in the state of Alabama. He's good enough to play safety or receiver in college, has excellent size, moves well and is a ball hawk. Last month, we put him in the class, but at safety. He commmitted on A-Day -- but as a receiver.

ATH -- Nathaniel Watson, Maplesville (Ala.)
The 4-star Auburn legacy (one uncle is Tigers great Tommy Agee) is high on the Tigers and has visited them far more than any other school, including last month. If Auburn pushes, the Tigers will have a good shot. He could play linebacker but would rather be on offense. Given his size, if he's on offense, we think he might land at tight end.
Interesting wonder if we are starting to recruit him at that spot because it's clear he wants to play offense

quote:
OG -- Jalil Irvin, Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson
The 4-star recruit, once a Michigan commit, gave his verbal to Auburn last month. He could play guard or center in college.

quote:
OG -- Kameron Stutts, Killen (Ala.) Brooks
Stutts committed to Auburn on A-Day.

quote:
OT -- Richard Gouraige, Tampa (Fla.) Cambridge Christian
The top-100 recruit likes Auburn a lot -- and a recent visit gave the Tigers a boost. Right now, Florida leads but if the Tigers can get him on campus a few more times that poentially could change things. This will be a battle as Clemson also is heavily involved.

quote:
OT -- Dylan Wonnum, Tucker (Ga.)
The 4-star recruit visited the Tigers on A-Day and is very good friends with Auburn commit Jalil Irvin. Auburn has started to push here and is becoming more of a factor. The Tigers hope to get him back on campus for Big Cat Weekend.

quote:
BUCK/OLB -- Richard Jibunor, Athens Christian
Jibunor, who is very high on the Auburn board, likes the Tigers a lot and they might even be the team to beat. Auburn is trending up and he likely will announce his college choice before the start of his senior season. Alabama and Georgia are serious threats.
