KN has update on 3* RB Harold Joiner. He says despite fact his area is very pro Alabama it's not gonna influence his decision. Important to note Bama has not offered so easy to say that now... His top 2 are AU & LSU. Says he's closest with Tim Horton and Ed Oregeron. Plans to visit both schools again but AU has edge in that category because it's closer. Says he is also talking with Florida, Georgia, Memphis and South Carolina and might visit the Dawgs soon tho he doesn't have an offer. AU trying to get him back on campus for a practice and/or A-Day. Says probably won't commit until December

Apparently Bama is trying to get 4* RB Asa Martin to visit. Their interest might be rising but as of now still AU/UF battle. Also Martin has admitted he was a little miffed at AU taking so long to offer so have to think that would hurt Bama too if they tried to jump into the fray but we will see

In depth with Asa Martin (247)
quote:
Asa Martin, having grown up in Alabama, always liked Auburn. It's a school he badly wanted to offer him.
But as he waited for it to come, it "did sting a little bit," the 4-star running back from Decatur (Ala.) Austin admitted during an interview with the SEC Recruiting Buzz podcast.
For Martin, the wait ended in February.
Not long after Chip Lindsey became Tigers offensive coordinator, he offered. Now, Auburn is locked in a battle with Florida and a decision could come in the near future.
At this time, the Gators lead.
Martin's relationship with Florida coach Jim McElwain and running backs coach JaJuan Seider is a big reason why.
"Florida is one of the top up-coming programs,” Martin said. “I really like Coach Mac and they’re building something special over there.”
As for Lindsey, Martin communicates with him often and that is keeping Auburn very much in the game.
"He's a real cool guy, too," Martin said. "He's from the north Alabama area, so we definitely have some ties. Our relationship is going pretty smooth. I talk to him more than any coach right now."
How would Auburn use Martin in the offense?
"They want to use me running the ball and catching the ball out of the backfield -- and catching the ball in the slot," Martin said. "I can do all those things well."
Martin will visit Auburn on April 8 for A-Day.

Evaluation and recruitment breakdown: Richard Jibunor (247)
quote:
When Sunday's The Opening Atlanta Regional ended, there was no doubt 3-star linebacker/buck Richard Jibunor of Athens Christian (Ga.). had been one of the top performers at the event. A short while later, he was named defensive line MVP. What did the 6-feet-3, 206-pound Auburn target do to impress? Just about everything. But more than anything it was his quickness off the ball and change of direction. In this recording, Keith Niebuhr and Kipp Adams break down Jibunor's game -- and his recruitment.

AU is after the #1 JUCO TE Dominick Wood-Anderson out of Arizona Western College according to KN. Says Tennessee, Alabama and Oregon are probably recruiting him the hardest right now. Says he has medium interest in AU and that he and Larry Porter talk once a week. Plans to take all 5 official visits before making decision

How good is OL target Clay Webb? (247)
I think state of Alabama is gonna be loaded next year
quote:
When Auburn offered Clay Webb in 2015, few knew of the 2019 offensive lineman from Oxford (Ala.). Now, he's one of the top recruits in the country for his class -- and is possibly the best 2019 lineman out there. Programs such as Alabama and Georgia also have offered and at Sunday's The Opening Atlanta Regional, Webb impressed with his size, strength, footwork, aggressiveness, punch and grit. What makes Webb special and where do things stand with his recruitment? Keith Niebuhr and Kipp Adams give you a breakdown.
