Offensive tackle 4* Christian Armstrong, Warner Robins (GA.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: Most believe FSU is the team to beat, but someone close to Armstrong told us the Tigers impressed the 4-star recruit and that he bonded well with the offensive line commits and targets at the event. That was at least his second visit to Auburn this year.

quote:
Receiver Tommy Bush, Schertz (Tx.) Samuel Clemens
WHERE THINGS STAND: This was the 4-star receiver's first trip to Auburn and he seemed to enjoy himself. He made the visit with his parents, and they stayed overnight. "I believe I am going to come back and see them again," Bush said. Auburn still has a long way to go here but certainly made a good first impression.

quote:
Defensive Tackle Jalen Cunningham, Odenville (Al.) St. Clair County
WHERE THINGS STAND: Alabama remains the team to beat for the 3-star defensive tackle but Auburn has made a signifcant move and now appears to be a top contender. If the Tide pushes, it's hard to imagine him slipping away because it has led for so long. "I love Auburn. I love the coaching staff," Cunningham said. His dad, who joined him, also likes the Tigers.

quote:
Safety Joseph Foucha, New Orleans (La.) McDonogh 35
WHERE THINGS STAND: Foucha's second visit to Auburn this year has put the Tigers in a good spot. While he recently listed a top 15 the reality is Auburn is among the top contenders. He could return this summer. Foucha is a priority recruit and the Tigers have a shot. No question about that.

quote:
Defensive End Andres Fox, Mobile (Ala.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: Auburn is a co-leader, but Fox wouldn't name the other. It's either Alabama or LSU and our guess is, it's probably LSU. He still says LSU is recruiting him hardest, but admitted Saturday's Big Cat visit gave Auburn a nice boost. He hopes to announce a commitment in August. At this time, we like Auburn's chances, but it's a long way from over with visits to Alabama and LSU looming.

quote:
ATH Kolbi Fuqua, Cordova (Ala.) -- AUBURN COMMIT
WHERE THINGS STAND: Fuqua appears to be solidly committed. He could play either receiver or safety.
Sounds like we might be convincing him to play safety. I hope so because I think he has a much higher ceiling at that spot than WR and would allow us to sign another WR from Seth Williams/Kearis Jackson/Marquez Ezzard/etc

quote:
Linebacker Michael Harris, Tucker (Ga.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: Harris is one of Auburn's top linebacker targets and the Tigers made a big move Saturday, inching closer to his leader -- Ohio State. Auburn has made him a priority and Harris loves that. While Ohio State also has recruited him hard, the Buckeyes recently landed two top linebackers. He'll visit there in a couple weeks. If the Buckeyes push and he feels the love, they could be in good shape. But if he feels as though Auburn wants -- and needs -- him more, there's a very real possibility Harris could land with the Tigers. He might have a decision later this month so it's now crunch time.

quote:
Wide receiver Matthew Hill, Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood
WHERE THINGS STAND: After another good visit, Auburn remains the favorite in our eyes for the 4-star target. He could have a decision sometime in the very near future. South Carolina is the other team to watch at the moment.

quote:
Offensive guard Trey Hill, Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston Country
WHERE THINGS STAND: Auburn got a little boost here but it's hard to tell where it sits with this elite prospect. Our best guess, given the high number of visits he has taken there, is the Tigers probably would be among the top four or five contenders. The key now is landing an official visit. Hill is an early enrollee.

quote:
Offensive guard/center Jalil Irvin, Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson -- AUBURN COMMIT
WHERE THINGS STAND: Irvin appears solidly committed to Auburn and was helping the Tigers recruit Saturday.

quote:
Wide receiver Kearis Jackson, Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County
WHERE THINGS STAND: While Georgia remains the favorite, Auburn probably is his No. 2 and the Tigers think they made up at least some ground Saturday. Jackson has gotten close with Auburn receivers coach Kodi Burns and that is keeping them in contention. Right now, though, Georgia remains our pick. But we do expect Jackson to return for more visits.
I don't know why but I feel like we might end up with this kid. Need UGA's passing offense to look weak and ours to be strong but I think we are a threat

quote:
Linebacker La'Dedric Jackson, Montgomery (Ala.) Lanier
WHERE THINGS STAND: Jackson does not yet hold an Auburn offer but he has impressed the Tigers. He likely will camp with Auburn this summer in hopes of landing an offer.

quote:
Receiver Shedrick Jackson, Hoover (Ala.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: Auburn remains the favorite and Jackson could announce for the Tigers soon. He said a decision might come in the next two weeks.

quote:
Receiver Lawrence Keys III, New Orleans (La.) McDonogh 35
WHERE THINGS STAND: Although Keys said he enjoyed his visit the Tigers don't seem like a huge factor at this time. That said, this was his second trip to Auburn. If he returns for a third, then that might mean something.

quote:
Running back Asa Martin, Decatur (Ala.) Austin
WHERE THINGS STAND: Martin did not do interviews following his visit but we've heard from multiple sources the trip went well. That was the second time Martin has visited Auburn in the past month with his mother. Auburn, Alabama and Florida are the top contenders. He'll visit the Tide on Tuesday and Wednesday. A decision will come Aug. 24.
Still think he ends up at AU

quote:
Athlete Charles McClelland, Clinch County (Ga.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: McClelland, a sleeper recruit Auburn recently offered, loved his first visit to Auburn and if the Tigers push they'd have an excellent shot. McClelland plans to return this summer and camp with the Tigers. If he does well there, you could see Auburn ramp things up..

quote:
Defensive back Kyler McMichael, Greater Atlanta Christian (Ga.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: This was McMichael's second visit to Auburn in two months (and third overall) and he raved about the experience. He said he loves Auburn's depth chart situation -- and the fact the Tigers have told him he could see action on both sides of the ball. Many think Clemson and Georiga are the favorites, but Auburn has become a factor and he plans to return. Auburn is trending in the right direction.
Would love to get this kid but I just don't have a ton of confidence in Brown right now to get it done

quote:
Defensive tackle Coynis Miller, Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin
WHERE THINGS STAND: Miller has visited the Tigers numerous times and seems to be a good fit both on and off the field at Auburn. The Tigers are a top contender, with Alabama being the other. He'll have a decision in August. Auburn is telling him he'll play early and he likes hearing that. But Miller grew up a Tide fan.
Just don't see this kid going anywhere other than Bama, hope I am wrong

Defensive tackle/end Daquan Newkirk, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Colege -- AUBURN COMMIT
WHERE THINGS STAND: By all accounts Newkirk had a great multi-day visit to Auburn and is solid to the Tigers.

quote:
Linebacker JJ Peterson, Colquitt County (Ga.)
WHERE THINGS STAND: Alabama continues to lead but Auburn may be starting to make this interesting. Peterson's visit was his second to Auburn and each time he has come away a little more comfortable with the Tigers. His strong relationship with linebackers coach Travis Williams may give the Tigers a shot.
This is another Nate McBride or Ben Davis situation. Kid loves T-WILL and so will hear us out but will end up signing with his top team
