Atlanta just traded a 2030 and 2032 second round picks for guard Aaron Wiggins from OKC. Wiggins is a very good player and easily worth 2 future second round picks. This trade makes me believe they are leaning toward Mara at 8.
Looking at the draft now with everything that has happened i think the Hawks should go
8- Aday Mara C Michigan
23- Isaiah Evans G Duke
57- Otega Oweh G Kentucky
7'3 center with power. Evans is an absolute sniper. 6'6 guard and Oweh is also 6'6 guard. Both guards have good length as well.

I’ve been reading about Quaintence from UK at 23. Does that still make sense if they draft Mara at 8.?

Two players I liked a lot and just thought they would thrive in Atlanta like Daniels did was Wiggins and Murphy in N.O. I was super excited to see them get Wiggins. He will be a back up but he has had games when he started and just exploded. He is 6'5 but can giard the 2 and 3. He is just a good player. Atlanta could still go guard at 8 but I just dont see it. Q from Kentucky is really good but Mara broke records for shot blocking and teams shot 35% from the floor when he was on the court.

There goes the guard I really wanted to the nets. With McCollum back, Nikell and now Wiggins I would have to go Mara at 8. Isaiah shoots daggers, can create his own shot or catch and shoot.

I would have went Mara there but Flemmings is really good and Isaiah and Oweh are both 2s. Flemmings is a really good pick and a really good point. So Q is in play at 23.
