Sounded like Joe Simpson doesn’t like the ump a whole lot - after a Folty strikes out Harper. Said he can’t understand how he’s still in the league and allowed to umpire. Damn!

That was funny when Paul byrd was reporting on Ozzie being hurt and they showed Ozzie in the same shot on the bench and he jumped over the rail to get a foul ball while they were saying he still needed to rest his hamstring.

Acuna did the same after a walk off win and it was only shortly after he hurt his knee.

Did we just see Folty telling Snit not to take him out as he was walking off the field after getting that third out? If so, I like it. Bottom of the order coming up so we need him to go one more.

He got up to 112 and they yanked him for ... uh oh, SF. After it was 4 to 2, he was replaced by Carle who retired the side Braves have 3 innings to get 2 runs if the bullpen holds for the rest of the game.... after the latest rain delay.

They do drag on, and hopefully this one doesn't end the game. The only good thing about delays I guess is watching the driven shows again about the good old days.

Too bad they lost, wish they had better relievers but today the Braves bats couldn't overcome their starter's very first inning. Sure the ump/replay screwed us out of a runner in scoring position but who knows what would happen there. I hope they can win the series against the team with the same kind of bullpen in Miami.

It might be time to give Culberson some more starts at SS when Ozzie gets back. He's been a much more productive hitter than Dansby.

I just read an article ranking the top 10 July trades that the braves have made since 91.
