Folty gave up the 1st hit to the Mets in the 5th. Paul byrd was a guest in the booth all night and he asked Chip and Joe about it because he was scared to bring it up. They must have heard something about their past jinx accusors and Chip said 'hey if we said something we'd just be reporting the no hitter' and Joe said 'if you talk about the no hitter in the dugout you're going to get slugged... but we're not in the dugout up here.'

They said if 3 Braves keep it up in all star voting and make the team it would be the most the Atlanta Braves have ever had. The last time they had that many was in the Hank Aaron, Eddie Matthews days in Milwaukee.

Hope Folty's ok, they took him out in between the 5th and 6th.. right after he batted. He was only 73 pitches and the announcers didn't have a clue why they put in Biddle either.

Biddle gave up the lead, 2 to 1 so far.

They replaced him with Carle, and Camargo got a sweet double play to end the Biddle mess all over the basepath.

I'd rather it be a bone headed manager thing than one of the best pitchers having an injury though.

If they have 3 starting that could be all the Braves we'll see because they have to find room for at least one from every NL team.
