They let Flaherty pinch hit for Gohara in the 5th, hope the bullpen can handle 5 innings. Oh and Flaherty actually got a hit.

Top of the 7th, Swanson hit a double with Camargo on base. No runs but 2 in scoring position for Tucker... who left them on base and struck out.

Braves are down 4 with only one inning to hopefully come back to go. But so far they haven't had the offense needed to keep up with what their pitchers are giving away.

There wasn't much room for error this series. Phillies pitching is legit.

Hope they can beat that tough team in Boston next after the day off.

Sunday has the chance to be absolutely disastrous.

Boston can fricking hit. All our pitchers will have to be on. And our bats better wake up a helluva lot more than they did in Philly.

I just looked up some basic team stats for comparison:
BA: Bos .267, Atl .264
RBI: Bos 247, Atl 234
OBP: Bos .330, Atl .335
ERA: Bos 3.49, Atl 3.47
Those stats are very similar. Offensively both Atlanta and Boston are in the Top 3

I meant from the standpoint that we have to face Sale, and we'll have our most mentally unstable pitcher on the mound. Start walking guys, and that has the potential to go up in flames against that lineup in that stadium.

I did hear them say Folty is last in the league at getting batters to chase his pitches, or something like that. I honestly didn't know that was a stat or people kept up with it

Good move. With the Mets coming up, we'll need the sure-fire win.

Even as a big star wars fan, I had my doubts about Solo being a good film or not. But thanks to the Braves' twitter, the movie poster is looking better than I expected!

Also from twitter, tonight's lineup against the big shots:

Kurt DH instead of Preston, Flaherty or Culberson is a good move in my opinion.

should have kept Bautista so we could use him for the Chewbacca part of the poster. Then release him.

Well they are starting a LH I think, so it certainly makes sense over Preston and Flaherty. In fact, I think all 3 Boston starters are LHP, so this will probably be the lineup all weekend.

Yeah Ozzie kills it against left handers, Acuna should too but he's been struggling lately so you have to just hope so I guess. Freddie, though a lefty, hits lefties well cause he's awesome. And I wouldn't be surprised if Markakis pulled off some good stuff as well. Did I leave out the righty, Kurt? Good luck to him!
