TT has been amazing
He definitely has been as a starter. It seems like his only real struggle has been in a relief appearance gone bad.
He gave up 3 runs in one inning of relief in that game where we walked about 15 guys. In his starts, he's given up 1,3,2,2 in 22 innings. Not a bad debut.

So if I counted right, the braves record this season thus far versus teams that are currently in a playoff position is 14-25.
This is exactly what worries me.

This will be the same old same old. The Braves will lose in the first round. Hell, at least they would be in the playoffs.
I haven't kept up with the Braves much this season. What is their weak link? Where do they need to be better to make noise in the playoffs?

It's a young team, getting to the playoffs is really something special, and no one expected it.
Even if they are eliminated in the first round, it's still positive for the long-term that they will experience post season baseball. It will likely result in them working even harder next year to try and eventually make the World Series.
The weak link is the bullpen, and like some have said, Braves management didn't really address it last off season because no one expected the team to be where they are right now.

Don't make comments like this if you haven't kept up with them.

Against the Cubs, Brewers, Rockies, Dodgers, and Cardinals, the Braves are 14-19. I don't really want to count the AL teams because that is completely different.
So still not very good, but I think the only team where the run differential was drastic with the Braves is LA, who we will end up getting matched up with in the NLDS barring some sort of hot streak one way or the other. I could easily see the Dodgers going on a run to overtake the Cubs.

On the pregame show they said if the Braves sweep the phillies they clinch the division at home.

1-0 phillies in the first, come on Gausman.

Markakis tied it up with a 1st inning RBI then he got in a rundown allowing Freddie to score 2-1 Braves.

Terrific base running by Nick

Gausman let them take the lead already in the 3rd and he's starting to make me look forward to Julio's game tomorrow.

Bottom of the 3rd, Camargo tied the game up on a sac fly 3-3.

They're sad cause they're hitless and trying to get through it together, come on and get some hits like Freddie, Dansby, Nick and Ender have tonight.

Gonna be a long night with Kapler making the trip...but I get it, tonight is essentially a must win for them

Fair point. I also could see the dodgers going on a run, they have the pitching.

Gausman pulled off 3 scoreless innings after the shaky start and has gotten his daily era down to 4.50.
