Fried walked a guy (Braves pitchers' 13 walks today so far tied a franchise record high) then a double so it's 7-1 in the 8th.

One of the only 2 Braves with a hit had to come out of the game in the 8th, Kurt's out and replaced by Rivera. (Ronald was the other btw.)

Vizcaino just walked a guy and they said it was the 14th of the day for the franshise record that had been around since the Boston Braves.

I'm going there Friday when they're against the Phillies, hope it's cooled off by then without getting rained out. That game today would've sent me to the taproom.

Big start for Newcomb if he wants a chance to be a postseason starter. It's not as clear cut as I thought it was a week ago.

He let somebody on base and gave up a homer to what's his overrated face, then had a walk and another hit or two ... 3-0 gnats in the 1st.

Wright came on to pitch the 4th.... he got one out then loaded the bases... but got out of it finally. 5-0 still.

I'm just glad the gnats didn't sweep us, they have been playing much better with their full lineup back and we don't win series against good teams.
