It's unfortunate, but this series proves we are not a playoff caliber team.

I mean, we have played pretty well against winning % teams this year. The Red Sox are just on another level.

This one has me salty. Would've been a nice win going out for 7 games to San Fran and Arizona.

Hope the Braves bounce back tomorrow night (possible with Acuna in the lineup) when Sanchez is pitching vs Greinke.

I really hate the way Snitker manages pitchers. So dumb

The Braves are a major league team with a minor league bullpen. Embarrassing!

The bullpen has been an issue all year long. You would think Snitker has learned that he can't pull a starter that's pitching well. That was the case today with Folty. 87 pitches, retired 10 batters in a row and Snitker inexplicably pulls him..... again. He's done this all year. We can't make our bullpen better right now, but we can avoid using them if our starters are going deep into games. Falls squarely on Brian Snitker.

AA is gonna have to spend some cash to get a reliever. Or demote some of the current guys and get our minor league guys up here.

When you’re in a playoff race and playing the best team in baseball, you leave folty in. Against the marlins, you can rest him.

The only Braves minor league team (I think) to make the playoffs was Rome, and ATL sent two of their longtime missing relief pitchers there for the first game tonight:

I forgot about Jose. It's a shame that he can't throw strikes. He's a guy I'd like to hold on to as long as contractually possible to see if he can figure it out because damn he has dominating stuff.

Despite getting our shite kicked in by the BoSox, we're still 1st in the NL East, thanks for to the Marlins for beating the Phillies.

Crazy how they have a good record but suck against division foes, even the worst of them. Braves are much better in the division, but I guess wish they had philly's non division record.

The funny thing about this is that I have been concerned about Washington pretty much all season. I figured that they would, at some point, turn it around and get hot. Had they done this, they would probably easily be in first place right now because of the struggles of Atl and Philly, yet here they are still 7 games back.

Seems like Washington is having troubles at the top of the organization. Too much talent on that team to be back 7 in the NL East.

Folty told Snitker and Chuck that he was done because he was worried about his velocity and bone spurs were bothering him.

The Braves just called up Max Fried... and sent Dustin Peterson to Detroit.

folty post game interview

he mentions it around the 1:20 mark. Said he's basically been fighting this issue since 16 (I assume he means 2016 and not 16 years old)
