I think Norvell is a done deal....the search committee is to double check the vetting because of the rumor that came out about him and they want to make sure he is completely vetted by a 3rd party.
Also while they wait making sure there isn't a bigger fish out there interested.

I like that Peoples seems about as cuddly as an enraged rattlesnake. Some of our coaches, in various sports, have gotten a bit to used to Long's laid back style. Having someone kicking them in the butt to get them going might not be a bad thing.

I watched the presser and think she handled herself very well. The only mistake I thought was not revealing that a firm had been hired, but that’s just not showing your cards. The media keeps harping how she’s never done this blah blah blah. She had a pretty solid background with the NCAA job. With help of people around her and the firm, I think she will do a fine job. If “they” make a great hire, JCP will be getting a nice gig elsewhere. With that motivation, I don’t think she’s sitting in her office fiddle frickin around...
