Very happy to see "The Chad" get your team off to a good first start. It's one of those games that if you look bad the fans will be upset so this one played out the right way...

I am comparing this season of the Razorback to Clemson's 2011 season when Chad Morris took over as Clemson's OC:

LINK

Our schedule in 2011 is pretty similar to your schedule as far as facing tough teams early.

As I recall, our first 2 games was rocky as Morris was installing his offense....Trust me, it's a big playbook and I'll wager less than 25% of the plays are available at this time.

Our first ranked opponent that year was Auburn, which were coming off their National Title with Cam Newton, who was gone to the NFL during this game...Auburn hit us in the mouth early and jumped to a 14-0 lead before we settled in and figured out that we could run with these guys...

It's not an exact comparison because we had better talent with players like Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Andre Ellingon and Dwayne Allen to name a few, but It's a worthy comparison.

You don't have the talent to bang head to head with some of the SEC horses yet, but the type of offense Chad runs can be a great compensation for the less talent if you can jump a team early and wear them down with tempo....

The key to Chad's offense is first downs...when trying to snap the ball every 15 seconds requires first downs or your Defense will be out on the field a lot more if you aren't converting. I hope Chad has leaned to take the air out of the ball when he had a lead to eat up some clock.

Auburn looks good, Bama looks invincibale, but Texas A&M is a game I am hoping you can snatch. Perhaps Clemson will expose them and give you coaches some good film to find some opportunities to exploit.

Here's to a good inaugural season!

I just want to beat A&M and MSU. We need to break those losing streaks. A win over Missouri and Ole Miss would make me elated as well. I expect 5-7 win a lone SEC win over Vanderbilt. I hope I'm wrong.

It’s awful loud in Starkville this year. Getting old already.

Yea these losses to Aggy suck. They are starting to actually believe they stack up against us.
