Him already being in the #2 spot in the weekend rotation probably plays heavily in to why we are recruiting Starkel. If he can hold that spot down then I can’t imagine he’ll be long for football.

I’ll wait and see if he stays in the starting rotation in SEC play. If he does, he gone.

There have been quite a few people who have been very open about their view that conner will play baseball.

I just believe that it is much harder to be a high level QB than it is to be a good pitcher. When you look at the NFL there is about 5-7 guys who play the position at a high level. 5-7 in the world. Feels like there is way higher number of good pitchers world wide.

DVH seemed pretty high on Noland on Bo's show. Made it sound like he's been in talks with football about overuse and workout coordination. Hopefully he has some good outings

He could be a great pitcher, he could be a great QB. The wear and tear on a pitcher seems to be less though.

We will see how he does as a pitcher against the SEC. I expect his first year will be rough to be honest.

That having been said, if he does well enough, then he should look at shutting down his football career and sticking with pitching.
