Heath Pelphrey Anderson sounds like a good name for a distinguished young southern gentleman

don't care if Pelphrey is spelled right

would be a good tRant screen name for one of pio's new alters

let's pick some of these lesser ones to schedule and get our all time record against them righted in our favor, while also getting some decent out of conference work

Providence
SLU
Wichita State
UMass

let's get Georgetown scheduled while they're weak
and DePaul
Bucknell again
BYU - they're up on us 0-1
Butler - we're 0-2 against Butler. Schedule them now.
Appalachian State - 1-1 so far - do a home and home, Boone, North Carolina is an awesome skiing trip
UAB

"HogStats.com" has some corrupted data so I'm not linking it, but still got the all time info from it under the "Series results" tab

interesting why we only played 80 games against Texas Tech while playing around a 150 give or take with most of the other former SWC conference opponents

So I looked and the SWC would not let Texas Tech in until 1956

Before that they were in something called the "Border Collegiate Athletic Conference"

They were in with Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico, what would become New Mexico State and UTEP, and Hardin Simmons and West Texas State

Plus Texas Tech didn't even exist as a school until 1923

A nice series with Tulsa. We still lead comfortably but they are much more competitive than they've been against us in football.

Good post HRV.

Gerald Meyers was a legend and then Arkansas native James Dickey did a good job there

Eddie Sutton vs Gerald Meyers were wars

we would rush home from church on Wednesday night and get I think most of the game in still, Tech, Texas, Houston, Baylor, as I helped wreak havoc on our crawlspace house foundation by running back and forth from my Nerf Goal in my room to the living room where the games were on

Gerald Meyers broke our damn hearts many nights
