Miami still recruits mainly thru the high school ranks. They're top 5-10 pretty much every year. Yeah, they will get a few nice pieces in the portal, but the majority of their best players on that team are guys they'll recruited out of high school.

What if we don’t have the money? Is he supposed to give them IOUs?

Bama has money. This notion that Bama is poor is absurd. They're just not going to pay 3 million for a player like Cam or 1.5 million for a guy like Ross, who hasnt done shite, but I guarantee you guys like Ty Haywood and Thompkins aren't cheap at all. Bama is in the top 6-10 schools money wise, but they just can't compete with the Texas schools until some rules are put in place.

If they don’t want to be here what’s the point in trying to retain them? There is still some dang good talent there and some good ones coming in I think the #1 edge and #1 CB if I’m not mistaken. Why try to outbid these teams for players that only want the money. Our main issue all year has been offensive line so I would much rather prefer all the NIL fix that issue.

Alabama's transfer rate percentage is heavily affected by the 3 Huskies that followed along with this new staff too. Also, I wonder if Proctor is counted in that.

I guess I'm saying that if Mack isn't the starter at QB next year, I wouldn't be surprised if we're 20-25% starts by transfers.

That Georgia number is insane. How in the world do they retain all their recruited talent?
