Well everyone had King in their starting 5 and as a previous 5 star player I thought he would be decent and maybe I shouldn't had thrown armond in there but king yes I just don't see it.

Yea Coleman can create and get to the hoop. Make free throws. Play defense. He is streaky but you had to guard him on the perimeter. All these guys are afraid to shoot.

Justin Coleman shot 30% from the field and 27% from 3PT last year. He had a 3-2 Assist to TO ratio. He averaged 3 FTs a game.

Come on man.

well when we miss the tourney being the 3rd team out, you'll remember this loss being bad despite it being the 2nd game of the season

a lost opportunity is correct

We kind of needed this win. I sure don't feel good about going to Texas and Oregon now. Out of Dayton, Texas, Oregon, and Clemson, we probably needed to win 2 of them. The rest of our OOC isn't that great.

Yep, this was one of our best chances at a solid Top 50 OOC win. Now we will neat to win @ Texas or @ Oregon to get one of those, much tougher tasks.

Again, it isn't like when we lost to St Peters or Tulane, but it's a giant missed opportunity.

I can agree with that! Not a bad loss, but yes a missed opportunity at a very good win!

Yes I think Coleman would've helped out a lot more than Avery did. Anybody who can get to the hole would've its that's simple.

That is true. I really hope Avery isn't on scholarship.

Justin Coleman's trips to the hole ended in

(a) blocked shot - 50%
(b) pass turnover - 20%
(c) brick - 20%
(d) free throws - 5%
(e) made shot - 5%

Tough loss again, but I thought Bama played better than I expected.

Hope that Dayton player is okay. Sucks to see anyone get injured.

Yea - but I'm certainly not giving up on this year. We'll get better. Like others have said, Dayton is a good team. Just sucks to have one close and let it slip away like that.

The melt in here is unbelievable. I'm glad I wasn't on this board when we lost to Ole Miss in football last year

Watching Baylor-Oregon right now. Amazing to see teams knock down open shots.

I wish we could skip forward to next year.

Coleman could get to the hoop but he couldn't do one single thing once he got there. How many times did you see him drive all the way through the lane only to have to dribble right back out?

He could make free throws, yes but other than that he was playing simply because there was no other option.

I'll melt harder over basketball than I ever will over football.

Coleman wasn't anything outside of a consistent FT shooter and dribbling and driving to the basket, then dishing it out to the top of the key. He wouldn't have done shite other than get his shots blocked.
