Please, PLEASE show me where someone has claimed that last years defense was great. Thanks in advance.

It's a straight up fact that our defense finished 3rd in the SP+.

If Mac Jones doesn't throw two pick 6s we win the game?

We can do "what ifs" forever.

The reality is that even Tulane held Auburn below 30. We couldn't.

What a great defense

I wonder how dumb you have to be to think Auburn preps for Tulane the same way it preps for Alabama.

That has to be one of the dumbest things in this thread really.

I guess back in 2011 you really thought that tin horn FCS team was the best offense we played that year because they scored more points than others?

I was thinking the same thing about an idiot who disregarded multiple reports and quotes from multiple sources that stated Golding took over playing calling from Tosh Lupoi.

Then again no one is that dumb or narrow minded that they would disregard blatant facts.

They would have to be a waste of time... someone who lacks any kind of objectivity.

multiple reports and sources?

There is not a single named source and the closest anyone could come to that is an ESPN analyst saying it on a talk show that nobody listens too.

But sure, lets pretend like it was reported on sportscenter, like actual confirmed news.

And I'm convinced you just don't know what the word objective means.

This Alabama forum is kinda unique in one way, there are multiple Bama forums that aren't discussing this topic in near the detail. They aren't discussing it because the "border patrol" wants to control the narrative.

They want to control the narrative because they believe coach Saban has already made the decision to sign Golding up for another term and now see this as a loyalty issue. (think democrats and republicans here)

Personally, I see the continuation of poor coaching as a bigger threat than a healthy, ongoing debate about the definition of Bama football insanity. And I'm still not convinced coach Saban is following my comments on the subject anyway. But, if you are coach, we need to talk.

If Pete is still at Bama by Feb 10 then you know Nick didn't see a problem other than the DL coaching or he couldn't hire a better option.

We'll see.
